Jessica Marie Alba was born on the 28th of April 1981 in Pomona, California. She spends much of her childhood between California and Texas. Her father, member of the American Air Force, is a Hispano-American while her mother is a Canadian-French. As a little child, she lives the life of the children of military fathers, walking from base to base according to her father's assignments: California, Mississippi, Texas. To finally return in Californie in 1990.

Jessica had always wanted to be an actress from the age of five. At the age of 12, she begins to take drama lessons.

In 1993, Jessica made her movie debut in Camp Nowhere.

In 1994, she landed a reoccurring role in "The Secret World of Alex Mac." After, she landed the role of Maya for a pilot of "Flipper."

Jessica involvement in "Flipper" lasted from 1995-1997

She appeared in fex TV series, she had a small role in "P.U.N.K.S" and in "Never Been Kissed". After she could be found with a larger role in "Idle Hands" and in "Paranoid".

In 2000 she becomes well-known in the whole world acting the main character "Max" in the series "Dark Angel" by James Cameron.

Jessica made a comeback in 2003 with the title role in Honey.

She steps for the first time on the stairs of Palais des Festivals in Cannes in 2005 for the presentation of the movie "Sin City" by Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller.
